Listed on the National Register of Historical Places in Doylestown Township, along side such notables as Mercer’s Fonthill, Burpee’s Fordhook Farm and Oscar Hammerstein’s House, is the Victorian/Italianate complex of farm buildings located at the intersection of Route 611 and Almshouse Road known as the Fretz Farm or more popularly, BLUEBERRY HILL.

Owned by the Fretz family from 1792 to 1910, for the better part of the 19th century the 299 acre farm and surrounding area became known as Fretz Valley.
